What is Commission Fee?
The Commission Fee rate is a percentage of the completed order value that TikTok Shop charges for the use of the platform. Note that commission fee rates vary by category. TikTok Shop will always inform sellers in advance before any change takes effect. More informaton can be found here.
How to Calculate an Order's Commission Fee?

Commission Fee = ((Net Sales + Customer paid Shipping Fee) - (Net Sales Refund + Customer shipping paid Refund)) * Commission Fee Rate

FAQ
- How often is the commission fee adjusted?
There is no definitive frequency for commission fee adjustments. In case of a commission fee adjustment, TikTok Shop will inform sellers in writing via multiple channels, including but not limited to policies, TikTok Shop Seller Centre, and email.
- How are sellers charged the commission fee?
The commission fee charges will be deducted directly from the order settlement.
- Is the commission fee inclusive of tax?
Yes. The commission fee rates stated above include applicable taxes, including but not limited to Value Added Tax (VAT).
- Where can sellers check the details of the commission amount?
Sellers may find the commission fee under the name "TikTok Shop commission fee", under the group "Fees". Aggregated data can be found in the Seller Centre > Finance > Finances overview, and the fees for each transaction in the Seller Centre > Finance > Statements.

- What does the refund process look like?
If the entire order is returned, the full commission fee will be refunded to the seller. If part of the order is refunded, only the commission fee charged on the refunded item(s) will be refunded to the seller.
- Will sellers receive an invoice describing the commission fee amount that TikTok Shop has charged?
Yes, sellers will receive an invoice the following month for the previous month's billing period. Sellers may visit Finance > Invoice Centre Platform Service Fee to download the invoice.
